HELLO,
I AM 29 YEAR OLD FEMALE WITH TWO CHILDREN, AFTER HAVING SEX WITH MY HUSBAND WITHIN FEW MINUTES I STARTED HAVING SEVERE ABDOMINAL PAIN,REALLY DULL PAIN. ALSO I FELT VERY FAINTY, SHIVERS, PINS AND NEEDLES AS WELL AS BEING SICK. I COULD NOT MOVE AT ALL, I WAS EXPECTING TO FIND SOME SORT OF POSITION TO EASE THE PAIN BUT I COULD NOT. AFTER 40 MIN THE PAIN STARTED TO EASE OFF AND WE WENT TO THE LOCAL DOCTOR. AFTER EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL EXMINATION I KNEW I DID NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF INFECTION AND WAS LEFT WITH SOME PAIN KILLERS FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT WHICH DID HELP(BY THEN I ONLY FELT MY STOMACK ACHING SLIGHTLY AND A BIT BLOATED), HOWEVER THE PRACTITIONER COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING OBVIOUS WRONG WITH ME.
WOULD YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS HAPPENING AS I AM RATHER CONCERN SO IS MY HUSBAND.
KIND REGARDS

I don't consider that responding to the threadstarter's concerns with an advertisement is particularly helpful. One should never simply buy a machine to assist with pain without first consulting a GP and undergoing a proper examination. In this case the lady's GP could find nothing specifically wrong with her but if the symptoms persist she should certainly return for further investigation before self-treating.

Oh my goodness, just last night (5/30) I had the exact same symptoms you described. I'm 32 years old, had sex at 2:30 in the morning, and all the sudden started having what felt like menstrual cramps that got to the point of intense pain. I, like you, could not find any position helpful in trying to relax. I tried laying down, standing up, sitting down, all kept me having the sudden severe pain. I tried going to the bathroom, then the pain made me profusely sweat. After about 10 minutes, I felt like I needed to throw up and I did. I had taken an Aleve right before I tried to go to the bathroom, and 30 minutes after, I felt better, completely better. No more pain, no sweating, and no vomiting and I was able to go back to sleep. I did want to go to ER when I was in that intense pain, but could not make myself get into car with husband due to the intensity of the pain.
I'm completely fine today.....
No idea what is/was wrong. I am due to start my period in 2-3 days, but this was too severe of pain to be regular pre menstrual cramps.

I had the same problem a couple of nights ago. I had sex around 3-4 in the morning but had to stop in the middle when a dull pain started. Within a minute it had turned into the worst pain I've ever had and I was unable to stand or speak. I crawled to the bathroom and my upper body was sweating profusely. My bf tried massaging my lower abdomen but nothing worked at all. I was in so much pain that I was unable to dress myself so my bf bf dressed me and we left for the hospital but halfway through the painkillers had started their effect and I came back to normal. I am going to see my doctor on moday as I don't want to ever go through that pain again. BTW my period is about to start in a day or two.
