I am a 26 year old female and have experienced quite severe anal pain over the years. I'm not too sure how to describe it, but it kind of feels like someone's shoving something sharp up my butt. I've noticed that when I realize the cramping is starting and i tense up the pain is a lot worse. I think that this pain has something to do with constipation; which i have experienced since I was a small child. I know other people who have experienced the same thing and I'm wondering if this is normal. Oh and it probably doesn't help that I have an anal retentive personality :0P
I had the same thing, it feels like lightning bolts in your rectum, Try upping your intake of protein, but stay away from laxitives as they can cause more cramping and diarrea.
