Hello, I am 26 years old female and there is one thing that I have to know. I have a boyfriend and we had sex the other night a week after my period. Can this be dangerous or not? I am not sure if I should be frightened because I haven't thought about it so far. Please answer my question.

Hi there, don't worry. When you are having a period it is the truth that you are more prone to STD, but that doesn't mean that you will get STD. You will get it only if you are having unprotected sex with someone who has it already. I hope that you will be able to calm down after this because you honestly don't have anything to worry about.

There could also be a chance of pregnancy, if you had unprotected intercourse..
