I had unprotected sex on october 21 and my period was suppose to come on october 27. it was late and came october 30 i was told that i have to wait until next month to see if im pregnant because i had sex too close to the start of my period is that true? or am i not pregnant?

in my last pregnancy i had a short period for the first two months of pregnancy. this made finding out the conception date very hard. sometimes, though, stress about being pregnant can make your period late. I would take a pregnancy test in a week, if it is negative wait 7 days and take it again, repeat if negative again. You could also go to the doctor and request a blood test to measure the HGC levels in your blood that can detect pregnancy 1 week after implantation Wink
