ok so i had an abortion and they said nothin in the vagina for two weeks. well i didnt really make it the two weeks i know i should have but didnt. we waited about a week. im just worried if things got messed up or i could be pregnant again because your very fertile after abortions. im starting to get the symptoms again but im on birth control. i took a take home test and it showed up negative. but then again i also took like 3 before and i had to go to planned parenthood to find out i was. i just need some advice before i go to the doc. thanx
You are on birth control, so that is one thing that makes it LESS likely that you could be pregnant.
ONE WEEK is okay, many docs say one week, some say 2 weeks..It does vary, the biggest thing is prevention of an INFECTION.. But you would know if you had an infection.
The PILL can make your breasts sore, and give you similar pregnancy like symptoms.
, so don't worry just yet.
On a side note, I too have had an abortion too. I waited 1 week to have sex, my doc told me to, so I felt safe doing so. I also work in an abortion clinic now.
