Hello. I'm 25 year old female and I would find out more about the condition I have developed recently.
You see, about a week ago, I was suffering from very large and hard bowel movements. One day, in my bathroom I have noticed that I have blood in my stool. I thought it is probably caused by some hemorrhoids and I contacted my GP thinking I will get some medications for hemorrhoids. But he has determined that I have developed some condition called anal fissure and scheduled me for an operation in three days. So, I would like to hear more about this operation and possible sex after the surgery.

Hello, I have had this operation few years back and I will tell you some important facts you should know.
An anal fissure is a tear in the lining of the anus and the main symptoms are pain and bleeding during bowel movements. The pain may last for hours afterwards, and then go away until the next bowel movement.
You don’t have to be scared of this operation because it is minor and very effective. The treatment usually leads to complete healing in a week or two. I was also worried about the fact is sex possible after the operation and my doctor told me that vaginal sex will probably be possible after week or less. Anal sex could be a problem but you can restart sexual relations within a month or so, when the wound is comfortable enough.
