Question to women: could anybody share their experience and tell me how long it takes before one can have painfree pleasurable sex after hemorrhoidectomy? Thank you.
That is a question you should ask the surgeon. You should not have intercourse until you are practically pain free and any incisions are healed, sutures, gauze etc., removed.
If the incision bursts open during intercourse you are going to have problems.
The best thing you can do is wait until you are healed!

Since the two areas are so closely located, I was wondering if scarring can create problems with sex later on. I am talking about regular, not anal sex.

The reader that comment that he is talking about "normal sex" not anal sex is not respective of those of us who are gay and anal sex is "normal" sex. Everyone should respect others when making statements. My doctor advised me that normal anal sex could resuume after about two months when cleared by him. It all depends on the severity of the surgery and the healing process.
