It is a full cycle of the pills which is a month, do not have unprotected sex before then, even after you should probably use a spermacide or something, As well as making sure you are taking your pill close to the same time every day. I started setting my alarm early in the morning, taking my pill, and sleeping more. It makes it easy and precise. I have been on BC pil for about 2 years, My bf almost always ejaculates is me, and I've never been pregnant. It's kinda annoying about the BC pill though, I makes your body think it's pregnant..all the time....but It works pretty well. It keeps your body from releasing an egg in the first place. |

| It is recommended that a person use another, additional method of birth control for the first 7 days after starting on the pill. After the 7 days are up, you should be fine. But, be sure to not miss any days, and try to take the pill around the same time every day, give or take an hour or two. This gives the best protection from the pill. Taking it at different times each day, and missing a day here or a day there will reduce the efficacy of the birth control pill, and you will be at an increased risk of getting pregnant. |
