Hi, recently I saw a TV show that was about sexual behavior. They talked about it in a way that I just did not understand. As far as I understood it, it seams that sexual behavior is different depending on the human culture and has variety of meanings. Since I am confused, could you, please, explain this a bit to me?

Hi, sexual behavior may sound like a simple thing, but it is not. This is a kind of behavior that people express when trying to find a partner, either for sex or a relationship. It covers a range of behaviors related to intimacy, from marriage to sexual abuse. sexual behavior is, as you heard, realized differently depending on the culture. Some physical contacts, like holding hands or kissing in the chick, can be interpreted as a sexual behavior for some people. For others, these kinds of contacts are considered quite natural. There are cultures and groups that believe that sex is appropriate only in marriage. The modern societies, especially after the sex revolution, have a totally different point of view. They have introduced a term "casual sex" as a normal part of sexual behavior. So you see people express sexual behavior that is suitable for the group that they belong to.
