Hi, few days ago I met my relative in the museum. We went for a coffee and she told me that our friend is suffering from shared psychotic disorder. I was very surprised as I know him as healthy and mentally strong person. My friend told me that his wife has psychotic disorder and that she caused his problems. I was wondering if this is possible to happen.

Hi, shared psychotic disorder or "follie a deux" is well known mental disorder. It happens when one person influence partner and projects his ideas on him or her. Both of them are behaving similar and developing delusional disorder. There were situations where whole families were included in such behavior. Good thing is that when you separate this people person who was influenced will become well after some time.
