sharp abdominal cramping in second month

I am a 36 years old teacher. I got pregnant two months ago, so now I am in second month. Three days ago I felt a sharp abdominal cramping. Because of my years, doctor advised me to stay in bed, most of time. I did it, and obey every other suggestion. Now I am in pain and still don't now why?

While cramping is normal in pregnancy, and even some bleeding, sharp pains should be a concern. It is possible that you have an ovarian cyst, if this is the case it could be a prospective problem and dangerous to you and the baby. I advise that you see a doctor for an ultrasound or goto the emergency.

I am sorry to tell you this, but you must go to see your doctor. It's necessary! With the story you have written, and concerning your age it is probably one of two things. One is miscarriage (includes bleeding too) and the other an ectopic pregnancy. These two possibilities can be certain if you had sexually transmitted disease ever.
