My friends have been shooting methadone for years. Are there any known problems about shooting methadone in particular. I know about the risks of intervenous drug use, but I know nothing about injecting methadone. I am concerned, perhaps about clotting, or strokes, etc. Can anyone shed any light on this? Does anyone else do it? I am concerned about my friends. They've been doing it for 5 years, and no problems so far. Does that mean it's probably ok?

Sorry, I don't know about long term effects, but I'm curious, are you guys shooting methadone, or the methadose discs? If it's methadone how are you shooting it?
