I need a couple of advices about short distance running. I must say that I was a long distance runner. So I am not completely new in this. How to reach a reach a reasonably fit level for sprinting? How many workouts a week do I need? What about weight lifting? Thank you for your help.

It is the best to work short distances. You can two hundred repeats. Weight lifting is very important. You can do it 3 times a week. You should use weights for upper body, higher weights.
