sick to stomach all the time

I have constant stomach aches and sharp pains, pains so severe on my lower right side, that sometimes it parilizes me to where i can't stand up straight and have to sit down and lean to one side. My doctor has said it is either my acid reflux or scar tissue from past surgeries. I find it hard to believe that those things could cause so much pain. I am 33 years old and have had several surgery's that has caused the so called scar tissue, yet I had these pains before any of my surgery's. any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I am 50 yr old female, I have had a total hysterectomy, my pain seems to be brought on after a day of lifting boxes or over doing it. The pain is located where my right ovary once was. I had several scans and the surgeon wanted to do explore for scar tissue problems. I am not one to let someone go poking and proding if there not sure what it is. The pain comes on all of a sudden and to stretch seems to agravate it or to touch it is tender. usually last about an hour. If you get any sound advice let me know.
