Well, mood swings are not the common side effects of erythromycin and this side effect isn’t even mentioned on its label but different people reported different mental side effects when starting this drug.
Some of the reported side effects included depression, lethargy, tiredness, loss of energy and will to move, anxiety attacks, sleepiness, irritability, impatience, loss of concentration and alike.
If you have started experiencing mood swings when started this drug, first think if it could be hormonal (if you are a woman) and then report this side effect to your doctor and see if you should change the dosage, continue with the treatment or get something else. |
