side effects/ pregnancy

I started taking ortho-tri-cyclen on dec.31, my husband ejaculated inside me jan.1, a couple of days latter my breast were teander. on jan.9, i started getting implantation bleeding and my period doesn't start again for another two weeks. i have also been feeling wiped out. all i want to do is sleep. so are these just side effects or signs of pregnancey? if the pill is the cause of the implantation bleeding should i still expect to have my period this month?

I think you are pregnant because it takes birth control pills 0ne week to be effective.

It is possible that you could be pregnant, but the pill can also cause breakthrough bleeding, especially the first couple months you take it. I would wait until your period is supposed to begin, and then take a pregnancy test.
