I would appreciate some information regarding condition called cin II. I have to say that I was surprised when my doc diagnosed me with it. Can you tell me what is the treatment for this condition and is it something dangerous?

CIN means cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. It can also be called cervical dysplasia. CIN II is also called moderate dysplasia. CIN is a condition in where there is a change in the cells on the surface of the cervix. The cervix is the bottom part of the uterus or womb. In the case of CIN normal cells are replaced with cells that are abnormal. This condition can be very serious due to a fact that over time, it is possible for these abnormal cells to turn into cancer. The cause of this condition is not known for sure. It is believed that it may be caused by a germ called a virus that is spread during sex. So, you are more likely to get CIN if you have many sex partners or in the case of your partner having many sex partners. The type of treatment for CIN depends upon how large an area on your cervix is involved and in some cases no treatment is needed. For additional information, you can contact your doctor.
