singulair stomache bloating

I have been diagnosed with asthma and prescribed Singulair. Just two days after the beginning of the treatment I started suffering from abdominal pain and bloating. How common is this? Should I call a doctor and ask him to change my medicine? Please, answer as soon as possible , I can’t stand feeling bloated!

Hi there! Yeah, these are side effects of Singulair. I had them as well but I didn’t panic. I waited a little bit to see if these side effects will go away when my body adjusts to the medicine. It turned out I was right. I am still on Singulair and am benefiting from it. I suggest you did the same as these side effects don’t need medical attention!
