I’ve been surfing this site steadyhealth.com and ran into some people discussing a proper spelling of a term patent neural formina. They were curios if it was written neural foraminal or neuroforaminal. I was reading their posts but couldn’t understand what the term meant.
Is there anybody who could tell me more about patent neural formina. Thx
Hi there! I don’t know much either except that it is a passage formed by the inferior and superior notches on the pedicles of adjacent vertebrae and that it transmits a spinal nerve and vessels. Patent means visible, so maybe it had to do with scanning or something. Sorry I couldn’t help you more, maybe somebody else will.
