Hi, my father is suffering from Sjogren's syndrome. He is 54 years old and his condition is quite good. From time to time he feels pain in his joints but generally he is not so bad. I would like to know how this syndrome may be diagnosed because I am afraid that I may get it too.
Hi, Sjogren syndrome may be diagnosed by several tests. However one of the most indicative signs is dryness of the eyes which appears in Sjogren's syndrome. If there are problems with joints and pain accompanied with it then it would be necessary just to do some blood and urine test to be perfectly sure if someone is suffering from Sjogren's syndrome.
