skin discoloration due to hblood pressure medications

I have some discolorationbelow my lower lip area and when I wake in the morning it is somewhat crusty and dry. Is there an over the counter cream that I can buy to clear up the area. It is also discolored as well.

My mom was using antidepressants when she developed this discoloration around her mouth and under the nose. There were no crusts or anything just the white discoloration. It was so unpleasant to look at. Anyway, we went to a dermatologist ( it took me 2 days to persuade her ) and she told us to leave it alone for some time as it may go away on its own, if not, to come back again!

I couldn’t persuade my mom to go and see her again, so she still has some of the discoloration left even though most of it went away but I would strongly advice you to go and have it checked, so that you are not left with these marks for the rest of your life.
