Hello! My husband suffers from asthma, and he has been prescribed Singulair, which was supposed to help him but instead he developed sleep apnea. Is there anyconection between this drug and sleep apnea? Could singulair have casued sleep apnea in my husbans?

Hi there! It is highly unlikely that the sleep apnea was caused by singulair. Many asthma sufferers have sleep apnea as well. There were also reports that Singulair showed significant improval in people with asthma and breathing problems. However, SIngulair could have caused these side effects: fatigue, weak upper arms, cramping in the upper thighs, bad dreams, etc
