23 yr M
not sexually active for a few years (yeah i know, being divorced sucks)
my testicles are just barely sore, somewhat of a bruised feeling. Has only been going on for a few days.
i would describe it best as Tender, i have no other pain, can get an erection fine and ejaculate as well. My balls just feel a little sore. I always am lifting heavy objects at work but the pain is very minimal, no other pain in abdomen or elsewhere. I am baffled. If I really take it easy it seems to go away but its just a barely there feeling of discomfort.
If I do go to the doctor will a regular physician see me?

| a friend had very similar symptoms recently and was diagnosed with a inguinal hernia. |

I'm actually the same age and came to this website b/c I'm currently experiencing an extremely similar problem. My testicles are just the slightest bit sore--it literally never bothers me except when I actually touch them to see if the pain is still there. This has been going on for about two or three weeks now, and there has been no increase in pain whatsoever...
Moreover, outside of the tenderness, there is nothing weird--no odd shapes, no problems sexually, and so forth.
Any insight is appreciated... I'd rather not have it professionally looked at unless there is a legitimate possibility of something serious. |
