slimy white/yellow coming out of the vagina?

i am 15 years old- about do for my period like next week or something... and i am getting this slimy yellow/white stuff coming out of my vagina... and i am scared... i had my period last month and i did have sex before but i have been doing good on my period and my mom said she never heard of discharge except when ur pergnant.... and it scares me but i dont think i can be pregnant becuz i have been getting my period every month... plz write me back and let me kno what is going on.....

It is normal for women to have white/clear discharge during their cycle. It is produced by the cervix and vaginal walls and changes consistancy during the cycle. If it is yellow/green coloured or smells bad then you need to get it checked by a doctor. You should also consider some form of birth control if you are sexually active
