small hard waxy spot on labia majoris

had this small (less than 3mm diameter) hard, eaxy spot on my labia for a couple of weeks, doesn't hurt and isn't getting bigger

looks like a spot with a head, but won't burst (i have tried!)

any thoughts what it might be?

it's called molluscum contagium. i'm not a doctor, so please see one. as i understand it's rather inoccuous but can be passed from one person to another. i had one on my penis that i'm sure i got from shaking hands with someone while in jail and then using the rest room shortly thereafter. they can recur, but i've only had the one.

do NOT pop the head - that's how it spreads.

they can last for a long time - mine was about 3-4 months.
