small whole in skin. what is this??

Since birth I have had a small indent at the top of my buttcrack. The other day I decided to investigate it and find it is a hole that has collected some black stuff (pretty gross) It is the diameter of a ball point pen and is quite deep. If anyone knows what this is called please tell me!!!
