Hi. I am a musician with a social anxiety problem. Right before we hit the stage, I get sweaty palms, and rely freeze, which affects my playing. I play really well so this is really bad. Why is this happening, I don’t freeze at studio. How can I fix this problem of mine?

Well, that sounds kind of a normal for a performer. That is usual for a starting musician. It should go away in a while. But if it doesn’t, you should consider going to a psychologist. For some teens, meds can be helpful as part of the treatment for social phobia. They regulate the level of serotonin (a brain chemical that helps to transmit electrical messages having to do with mood). Hope I helped.
