itchy swelling between anus and testicles

I am experiencing large itchy swelling between anus and testicles.
Swelling goes in a line from anus to testicles
It is like I have some kind of tract infected.
I occaisionally apply pressure to it and a clearish mucus is discharged from a possible hair folicle.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

You better see a doc to determine what the swelling is all about. Does it look like a cyst, a small bump, a blister, or something else?

It could be a type of perianal cyst that needs draing or something. It would be best if you had it checked by a doc. I understand that the area is embarrasing but you better got rid of it then let in inflame if it hasn't already. if it gets inflamed, it will hurt like crazy and you won't even be able to sit normally.

Hi, I cant believe i have found this post. Im so pleased.Ive been having problems for a few months now with the same swelling around the front of my anus to around 1 inch towards my scrotum. Sometimes it really hurts like hell and i ve actually had so many problems im searching now for an answer instead of going to the docs like you advise on here. if i apply pressure to the swelling i feel like a bubble roll around the swelling then mucus comes from my anu which has a fishy kind of smell and snotty texture. If i continue to grit my teethand press the swelling i can see traces of blood. Some days the swelling is so bad i find it hard to sit properly and just the other day i sat on the edge of a desk and slid off and felt this feeling like a watery pump. When i went to the loo the back of my shorts were covered in fresh blood. this really worried me and i thought the worst and today ive syffered so bad i had to come on and search. im on antibiotics for a chest infection and hope if its a tract infection then this will be cleared up. If not, im gonna have to go to the docs. Im scared it cancer and TBH i dont wanna know if it is. Im sure my missus and my 3 yrs old little girl doesn't either.


I feel its also effected by things i eat, hot spicy foods and also if im caught short and need the loo when im driving and have to hold it in. This causses it to become irritated later the same day.

Feeling better that someone else experiences this - I am still suffering, but only once a week at most. After squeezing to relieve pressure - seems to quieten down for days / week.
I am being nagged to attend doctors but avoid due to possible results.
For the chap with similar probs - keep in touch, and let us know future developments plz.

This sounds like a case of a hemorrhoid that is inflamed. Go to doc and get an answer. If it is something serious like cancer, the sooner it is treated, the better the results. Get a life and grow up and take responsibilities and go to a doc!

sounds like a cyst or blood boil. antibotics help along with hot soaks.

saw doc - examined and advised it was just an infection. took special wall breaking (prevents bacteria from forming a wall of defense) antibiotics - no problem now.

Hi, i am 17 years out and i got this swelling thingy on my anus.
it looks urgg. But it bothers me alot. Today i don;t know how it got scratch or something. I a little spot have bleeded.
I need help right away.

Does this also infect it.
I love spicy food. Do lot of sport.
Someday i use the whole day on the pc.
And do i need a diet??

I need seriously advise. Because doctors here on Bonaire. Are urrg. They can't cure good. i think they might make it worse.
But is this a serious prob.
I don't want long term sickness.

I also have this swollen, itchy line. It feels really good to itch until it starts to hurt and the I notice blood on my fingers.

Also, I have a few spots on my scrotum that itch. They are small bumps about 3mm diameter and are very low to the skin. They itch and it feels so good to itch my eyes roll back into my head sometimes, but then they easily burst and a clear liquid comes out. After a day or so, the bump is gone but there is still an open wound where the skin was itched off. If I squeeze the skin around it, a small amount of blood and other clear liquid will come out.

The final spot where I itch is in the crease between my leg and my scrotum. It doesn't itch as bad or feel as good when it's being itched, but the skin is red where it itches. The skin around it and the itched bumps is even a little bit flaky at some times.

Please if anyone knows any more about this, please post. I was told it was a yeast infection by my local "infection specialist" however at the same time I had a strep infection on my leg that he said was unrelated to the scrotum itching.

I think the reason it feels good to scratch is because it is an erogenous zone. The more it itches, the more you scratch it, making you feel good while making it worse at the same time. I think the key is to try not go near that area.
