spotting in the 4th to 5th week??

Hi everyone. Glad I found this site.

I found out I was pregnant last Thursday. My LMP was the 21st of July. I had a little spotting around when my period was due, which I figured was implantation bleeding. Last night when I went to the toilet, I noticed a little blood. It was there every time I checked and through the morning, although it tapered off and went from brownish, to yellow, then nothing.

Has anyone had this happen to them before? Could this be implantation bleeding this late in the stage? I went to my dr and they are monitoring my levels, but if I was going to miscarry, wouldn't it be lots of blood??
