Could be. This is exactly the same that happened to me. I had my regular period and after 2 weeks I got some light spotting like it was menstruation but it actually wasn’t because it lasted one whole day. It was a bit more like spotting and was a light blood flow, nothing that looked like a real menstruation. After that I started to have abdominal cramps and would feel sick in the morning so it was obvious that I was pregnant. I did the home pregnancy test cast pro forme, even though I knew the result in advance. And of course, the test showed the positive results so I was ready to start the pregnancy. Do you also have some symptoms of the pregnancy beside this spotting?
But you know what? There is also something else that could have happened to you. You could have been ovulating. Sometimes, women receive spotting when they are ovulating, which usually happens around 2 weeks before your next period. I suggest you wit and see if your next period will be due on time so if you don’t get it, you do the pregnancy test.
