Hi, I had unprotected sex with some girl a week ago. Yesterday I noticed white spots on my penis, and urologist told me that I have yeast infection. Is it possible that I got it from that girl? Is this a spreading disease?

Hi, I had a yeast infection on my genitals once. I didn’t know what it was, and I didn’t go to the doctor for a long time. Someone told me that it would go away by itself, and I believed it. After few weeks I completely forgot about it, and in a meantime, I found a girlfriend. I slept with her several times, and few weeks later, she told me that she got a yeast infection. I felt so embarrassed knowing that she probably got it from me, and I immediately went to urologist. I asked him if it’s possible to spread this disease to the other person, and he said that it happens very often. He prescribed me diflucan and said that my girlfriend also has to be cured before we have sex, because she could spread it back to me. Don’t make the same mistake, and cure this infection before you spread it to someone else.
