started menopause and feeling terrible

I didn't even know that I’d started my menopause until I started to get all these hot flashy things. I must tell you the feeling is terrible. I feel hopeless. What is the best solution for this?

During menopause, production of these hormones fluctuates wildly, and finally, falls drastically. It is a huge change, causing, most commonly: erratic periods, some much heavier than normal; vaginal dryness; bladder irritability; and the classic menopausal symptom - the hot flush. You are not only one. All women have those terrible feelings.
