started to lose hair-what can I do?

Hi, I am 36 years old male and I have noticed that my hair is not as thick as it was before. It started to fall of several months ago but I thought it will stop. Now I see that I have started to lose my hair. I would like to know if there is something I can do stop this process?

Hi, there are several reason why you may start lose your hair. It may be caused by stress but it won't last long and when stress passes your hair growth would be back to normal. Other cause may be fungus infections but this kind of losing hair is characterized by separate areas without hair. Also reason for hair losing may be genetic and in that case there is not much you can do about it. Eventual hair transplantation would help.
