I am starting with accuatne treatment and I was advised staring accuatne journal too. I am not sure is there some rule that I should follow or it is just a simple journal? I will appreciate some advice from someone who writes accutane journal or have some experience with this. Thank you. I am 22, female.

I am writing with accuatne journal from the day one. Just have to write what do you fell and changes that you have noticed related to Accutane, like how do you feel while you are taking this drug. Starting with accuatne journal is not a big thing you just have to be disciplined and write every day. I am writing my journal for 10 days now. Here is example:” My derm and GP may not think its Accutane related, but my parents and I disagree. I've never had anything like this. It's so confusing. I don't know if I want to find out if it's Accutane related by going back on and seeing if this stuff gets worse. I'm glad that I've been on Accutane for 2 months…..”

I know this thread is really old, but if you're still posting at this forum. Would you please let us know how your accutane experience went?

It's been a few years since my course of accutane finished but I'm worried about having to do a second one. Did your first clear you up?

Thanks.
