Studies show that many health hazards after short usage of steroids are reversible. The most devastating effects of steroids are liver tumors, jaundice, fluid retention, and high blood pressure. In men additionally are reported side effects like: shrinking of the testicles, reduced sperm count, infertility, baldness, breasts enlargement. Women can experience growth of facial hair, problems in or cessation of the menstrual cycle, deepening of voice. Anabolic steroids lead to growth stopping, as a result of premature skeletal maturation and accelerated puberty changes.
