still in pain, post op 6 weeks neuroma surgery

I had neuroma surgery about 6 weeks ago--I had a set back around week 2--infection near the incision- got thru that and returned to work this past week (week 5) I also started PT this week --Now it is week 6 and the ball of my foot still hurts, still have pain and tingling in toes--At night I sometimes wake up in pain. Get sharp pain every now and then in toes---Help!! I am getting discouraged--Do I just need to give this more time or is something wrong?? any comments or suggestions would be appreciated Thanks!!
