i had a surgical abortion almost 3 weeks ago... i then began lactating almost 2 weeks after... i took another pregnancy test and it was positive... i know this doesnt mean im still pregnant because it can stay positive for up to 6 weeks. i have my follow up check up booked for the 24th which will be exactly 5 weeks after, yet i would like to know what is happening before then.. i know it is possible yet unusual for abortions to fail, it also hurts at some angles during sex, this has never happened before. is there anyway to tell if it has failed or not?
