My girlfriend no matter how little she eats her stomach hurts afterwards what could cause this?

This could simply be her gallbladder. Needs to have an ultrasound. Can be removed with laparoscopic surgery if needed. Usually about 3 very small incisions in her abdomen, appx 1/2-1" long each.
