Posted: 10/31/05 - 03:00 Post subject: stomach pain from losing virginity |
|
|
I am sixteen years old and yesterdays I lost my virginity. I wanted to do it with my boyfriend because I love him, which is why I never regret for doing this. Anyways, today I feel bad psychically, because I have noticed slight bleeding and stomach pain. I am a little bit worried is that normal or there is something wrong with me. I do not have anyone to ask, because my friends are all virgins, and my mum does not know about me.

Losing virginity is nothing you should be ashamed of, and it would be nice if you could share this with your mother. She is the one who can give you some good advices because she is older. I know it is not so easy to achieve understanding between parents and children, which is why I will try to help you as much as I can. First, you need to know protection of unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections are very important things you need to think about now. You can calm down, because everything happened in short period so your symptoms are normal. It is normal to have abdominal pain and bleeding after your hymen is perforated. If this condition continues to bother you more then two or more days, I could advice you to visit gynecologist. Probably there is nothing wrong with you, but anyway exam will be good for you. Take care about yourself for a few days and stop be worried. Enjoy with your boyfriend and try not to regret ever for something you have done.

|

| It is sad that the last respondent treated your concern so casually. Virginity is a precious gift that you can only give once. It is highly unlikely that you will spend the rest of your life with this boyfriend. It is highly likely that you will regret your decision to have sex with him. God intended sex to be an amazing, sensual, intimate joy to share with one particular person-- your husband. Treat yourself with more respect and, more importantly, treat God with respect by obeying his mandates. |

| i lost my virginity to someone that i'm not currently with, but i do not regret it because i lost it to someone that i loved. sex is a natural thing, marraige is just a human creation. The above poster stated god created sex for marraige, but marraige is a human institution not something god created. |

Not for argument sake or anythnig but the difference between humans and animals is that humans do not blindly follow their desires. They plan and foresee the consequences. Marriage is not a human created institution. The order to have sex in marital relation only is commanded in all Abrahamic religions. Besides, if you really think someone is that special, why not be committed to them? True commitment is not in words but in actions.. which is marriage. Girls and guys who are not married yet, please let your partners know that if they truly feel what they claim then marry you before they lay their hands on you, you deserve sincerity and love of someone who is truly YOURS. |

I hope it's realized that you have all completely deviated from the original poster's question. It's rude and inconsiderate. Start a debate elsewhere, if the need may arise.
Virginity is a prescious gift, yes, but also a gift given at the will of its owner. No one is right to condemn or judge - your God himself shall be the sole judge of all, in paraphrase; all you can do is advise.
I don't know if you're still reading these posts, and by now, you're a year older and wiser, but you made a decision that can't be reversed, and I hope you never regret it. Be cautious and good luck. |

ok lady or dude ur right virginity aspects used to be like that but nobody this day in age follows that maybe if we were back in 1912 sure but i have confidence in her and how do you know they won't last there are still a few good men in our era there just hard to come by. also its great you believe in god but maybe she don't. if there really were a god i don't think the world would be so screwed up. |

At least you didn't lose it in the back seat of a Honda Escort with a mechanic named "Pan-Head" (but everyone just called him Jason) Any pain is likely from introducing an object into that area for the first time. And you probably meant abdomen discomfort.

I totally agree with the third post before mine. The marriage comments are competely unnecessary in this setting (the website is steadyhealth.com, not marriageforever.com or whatever site those idiots think they're on).
Now to address the original post... I am an 19 year old and I lost my virginity over a two years ago with my boyfriend of 4 years. Needless to say we were very much in love, and like you, we didn't regret it at all. Also like you, I experienced some pain, but that went away in about 2 days while the bleeding went away in 3. It was just your body's reactions to muscles being stretched for the very first time, much like you would be sore if you suddenly started lifting weights. I would encourage you to get a doctor and tell your mom fairly soon. Trust me, I didn't tell my mom and she was mad that I waited for so long to tell her, not the fact that I wasn't a virgin anymore.
Now to go back an refute the marriage nut comments from before: Yes, sex in marriage is probably a special thing if you are very Christian. But at the same time, those beliefs can actually tear apart a family. My dad is an evangelical, and he went absolutely nuts when he found out. Before, we had such a good relationship and just because he was trying to impose his beliefs on me (I'm now agnostic), we have really drifted. So much for unconditional fatherly love and forgiveness, you Godd*** Christian hypocrites!!! (Oh, and FYI, premarital sex doesn't make you less likely to stay w/that person... I'm now engaged to the man I lost my virginity to.) |
