I have stomach polyps, growths on the inside lining of the colon. I am still waiting from biopsy results. They are probably going to remove them. I am terrified that I might have cancer. What causes them and how do I take care of them?

Well, I am sorry but the cause of polyp formation and colon cancer is unknown. Some people may inherit this condition genetically. If there is history of the disease in your family that can maybe explain. Proper diet may help. You can ask nutritionist to make special diet for you, and of course there are meds too.
