stomach problems due to anxiety?

My wife is 39 years old and she has been having anxiety problems for the past few years. Actually, I did not notice that, she did not complain much, but she says now that first concerns started that long ago. I guess she has chosen to ignore that for all this time and I was preoccupied with my job. What's even worse, she has developed some stomach problems too. Can this be due to anxiety?

Unfortunately, it can. Further more, it might be possible that she developed that stomach problem because she was enduring her fears for that long. Whatever the case, she must deal with that now and you must help her as much as you can. She could attend therapies; even take medications, just as long as she is doing something about it.
