stomache noises and girggeling after eating

After meals I have a lot of stomache noises to the point of embarresment
also discomfort and a lot repeat lot of gass. I have taken various meds
including tums, maalox and antiacids, but with not too much relief--
I have seen a doctor and he said i have irritable bowl syndrome. so what do i do now.?----------------HELP

My husband has really bad digestive issues too. I took him to see a naturopath and he was put on some natural medicines that are helping to repair his digestive system. Point of this story? If you don't find relief with doctors, I strongly suggest you see a homeopath or naturopath. I've had great success with them, and so has my husband. He doesn't get the gas and the stomach aches like he used to.
