stomache pain and vomiting 5 year-old

Hi, my kid is 5 years old and he is vomiting in last few days. He doesnâ€™t have high temperature but when he eat something he vomits it several minutes after that. I am giving him liquids to prevent dehydration but I am worried because I hoped it wonâ€™t last so long. Did anyone have similar experiences?

Hi, it is pretty difficult to be sure what is going on in stomach of your kid. It may be that he ate something and intoxicated himself. In that case it will pass in 2-3 days. Second reason for such symptoms may be appendicitis which may cause such symptoms. Also his stomach would be hard on palpation. In that case it would be the best to consult his doctor as soon as possible. Third reason may be ileus or stopped work of his intestines and it is also case for hospital care.
