Hi, I have recently stopped taking KLONIPIN, but it seems like I am addicted as I need to take it again. How can I get off it?

Hi, Klonopin is an anticonvulsant, used in the treatment of seizure disorders. But as it belongs to a class of drug known as benzodiazepines, it has high addictive potential. Psychological and physical dependence is common and can develop in only two to four weeks. If you suddenly stop taking it psychological and physical withdrawal symptoms will develop. So, you need to lower the dose you take gradually. Take it only as prescribed and perhaps you can ask your doctor to give you some weaker drug now.
