it may have been a short "jolt" to the system, but you should return to your normal cycle quite quickly. you were only on the pill for a few days, you might feel a little mild nausea or tiredness.
What worries me more is that your father has thrown away your birth control.
Without birth control, you have nothing to protect you should a condom fail.
What are your plans as of now? Go back on the pill and attempt to hide it better? a new form of birth control?
perhaps talk with your father, (depending on how you feel he would react) - with most parents, they are happier you are on birth control than not on it at all!
You could go for a different method of birth control, that could not be found out so easily.
The patch, worn on the skin under clothes, that delivers the same hormones as the pill.
The IUD, inserted into the uterus by a doctor, it will protect you for up to 5 years, with nothing to give it away.
or the depo shot, an injection every three months.
or the nuva ring, the implant. there are many options that he could not find out about, that would protect you.
perhaps arrange another meeting with your doctor/clinic to discuss options. |
