Hi it's me again. Glad to see a couple more people on board! I think it gave me relief to know I wasn't alone in this.
I forgot to take another sample in on my last doctor visit but, I'm going in tomorrow and taking 4 of these bean type things in. If that isn't enough for a pathologist to figure it out nothing is. If my son didn't find this thread I would have been worried sick.
I'll let my Dr. know there are several people waiting the test results. I know from what I've read here, no one has recieved a plausable answer. Please check back within a week or two and I should have the answer from the 2nd round of tests on these strange cheese stuffed beans we all seem to have.
It sure is a curiosity and I hope nothing bad. |

| I am also having white in my stool...my first one were two round (about the size of a cherry tomato)..and nothing else. Now for the last three days there have been tons of them but also regular looking stool. Although every time I wipe there is ton of mucus. I am also freaking iout but have no real doctor yet so my only option is to go to ER. I too have IBS..have ha it ever since I got my gallbladder out. Please let me know if anyone find anything out as I will do the same. |

I AM SO HAPPY TO FIND YOU ALL!!! I am so sorry we're all going through this, but I am also relieved to know there are others who know what I am talking about! These oval objects are sometimes orange and sometimes yellow on the outside, pure white in the middle, and they float. (I cant believe how many of us checked to see the inside. That's when you know this is freaking you out!) I first saw them earlier this year when I started a fasting colon cleanse and I thought they might be baby carrots--which I can't remember the last time I ate! Then I thought they might be some kind of parasite eggs. That's too scary, so I thought they were undigested pills because they are always the same size. I find that very suspicious. How can they always be exactly the same size? My doctor said I might have IBS and sent me to a GI doc over the summer who gave me MiraLax. That was the worst... I thought I was going to die from that. I have been searching for months about this, ever since these ovals began showing up, and this site is the first I have found that deals with my exact symptoms. My latest idea is maybe it's undigested fat.
Unfortunately, I don't have any answers either. I will keep checking to see if anyone else gets any answers, and I will certainly post any info I get.
Thanks! |

| I have been pasing these things for about 6 weeks. They are all the same size: like a large bean or a baby carrot, smooth brown with white inside. Like a peice of doe. They are the size of a snake egg. But I'm sure there is no snake-like animal in my gut laying eggs. I'll start collecting them in a plastic container, then bring them to a lab. |

I still have no answer. I guess knowing that you all are out there with the same thing took the ergency out of finding the answer but, don't get me wrong, I'm still going to find out and I will post the answer as soon as I find out. I've got this thread of posts bookmarked so I will continue to keep you updated. I still haven't found any answers online (other then I still think it looks like the section the eggs of tape worms are released in, based on a photo on the internet of those) the doctor is sure it isn't a parasite or tape worm egg and I asked and she said it isn't fat or cholestral being released (I am on cholesteral reducing meds). The doctors guess was undigested pills and I am possitive it isn't. None of my pills are that large. These things we all seem to have are really bean shaped like a navy bean, I would say. I've been so busy for the holidays but I still am taking another sample in as soon as possible. Please if anyone else beats me to it let us all know.
I guess to have them properly tested by pathology they need to be in a container from the clinic not one from home. They have to be placed in some sterile liquid. They wouldn't take my last samples because of that.
I guess the good thing is we're all still around and reading this! |

MaryBeth thank you! Great job researching and in my opinion that is the best answer I've heard to date! I'm still going to take in samples after thefirst of the year but, I'm quite sure you've discovered the answer. I'll be keeping in touch as soon as I have anything to add to your information.
Thanks bunches!

| While this sounds like the "beans" we all seem to be talking about I notice the article you reference is for infants. I don't drink milk so I don't think that would apply to me but I have the same symptoms. I am going to a gastro doctor Jan 22 and I will take three or four of these things with me and see what he says |

yeah so today i made a massive dump
since the new year i was sick till the 6th vomiting and having one shart i guess not a solid stool but not enough to count for Diarrhea. and since then i've been doing ok but when i took the biggest one since being sick, there was a fairly large black not brownish pitch black, thing that had either come out last or worked it's way through the full bowl, floating on what little water was left.
it's spongy bigger than any bean i'd ever eaten and the last drug i'd taken was IB profen on new years day!
idk i know it's not poop
and i barely ate anything since being sick
it's about the size of a good pineapple chunk |
