strep infetions after spinal surgery

MY 31 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAD BACK SURGERY 4 WEEKS AGE FOR A DISK IN HER LOWER BACK. 2 WEEKS LATER SHE START TO HAVE HIGH FEVER AND ALOT MORE PAIN, NO APPITITE, HAED ACKES. SHE WENT TO DR. AND HE PUT HERE ON ANTIBIOTICS, AND SAID SHE HAD BAC. INFECTION. 4 DAYS LATER SHE IS PUT IN HOSPITAL ON IV AND BACK INTO SURGERY. THEY SAID IT WAS IN THE TISSUE, AND IN. DEASE DR. SHE SAID TOLD HER SHE HAS STEP. GROUP B. NOW SHE CAN NOT HAVE BABY DUE TO HYS. 6 MONTHS AGO. AND NOW SHE IS HOME ON IV ANTIB. FOR 6-8 WEEKS WITH VISITING NURSE ONCE A WEEK FOR BLOOD WORK, AND DR. ONCE A WEEK UNTIL SHE GETS BETTER. HAS ANY ONE EVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE, OR HAS SHE MISSUNDERSTOOD THE DR. OF WHAT SHE REALLY HAS? PLEASE HELP ME I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO GO I AM STUCK HERE AND SHE IS 900 MILES AWAY SO I CAN NOT JUST ASK HERE DR. THANK YOU. KKD Sad Sad
