Hello. I'm 36 year old mother and recently I have noticed that something wrong is happening with my son.
He just entered the first grade and every time he needs to go to the school he gets headaches or stomachaches.
So, I have strong reasons to believe that he is very stressed about school. He refuses to speak with me about this but I know I'm right.
I don’t know what to do.
Nothing I do or say to him can reach to him.
Well, I'm also a mother and I have some advices for you that I thing should work.
First of all, you shouldn’t ask him –What is wrong? He will never answer on such question!
You should tell him about possible reasons of his fear or disliking the school. Ask him did some bully bother him or maybe the teacher shout on him.
Maybe the work is too hard, or he doesn’t feel as smart as the other kids?
I'm certain that some of his answers will lead you on possible reason and possible solution.
