hi,i have a 3 yr old son and his foreskin is still stuck to his head is this normal as i dont have a clue when the forskin comes apart

Hi there! You shouldn’t worry about your son’s foreskin being stuck to the glans. There is no perfect timing for this and it may occur at any age actually. The separation may start at the 3 or 4 years of age but not until later will complete separation occur. Two things need to happen before foreskin’s ability to fully retract.

The inner surface of the foreskin and the head of the penis need to come apart and the narrow tip needs to get big enough to allow retraction. It varies from person to person when this would happen. In some boys, full retractions doesn’t happen until puberty. However, others have their foreskin retractable by the age of 10.

When the separation starts, your boy may be experiencing ballooning of the foreskin during urination but it does not interfere with it. Ballooning is normal and nothing to worry about. It will disappear when the foreskin widens.

hi. im 17 yrs old and i have never been able to retract my fore skin even when erect..about 8 months ago i noticed on a adult move that a uncircumsized man could retract his foreshin..i had never though anything was rong with me,,so i did some research online and found that i was supposed to b able to.. so i begain trying to..and trying and trying..then a ouple days ago i got it too while not erect.. under there i found yellowish white stuff,, what i believe to be old semen.. i still cannot retract it while erect because it is too tight.. the head under the fore skin is very sensative and almost tender,only when exposed..and ff i try and clean the stuff off it hurts ..im kindof affraid i ahve an infection..please help me
