stuck foreskin

hey im 15 and i cant get my foreskin over the head. ive been trying a bit lately and its gotten better but know it just seems to be stuck on the bottom, it also seems to be red on the bottom and there is like a peice of skin or something coming out from underneath the forskin and its red, i got no idea what it is im just concerned.

Are your saying that your foreskin is stuck under the head and it won’t go over the head or that you can’t retracting down from the head down? Because these are two different things. One is called phimosis-when you can’t retract it down and when forekin covers your head and another one is called paraphimosis when the foreskin is stuck under the head and it won’t go up. This may be a problem, because if the foreskin is stuck under the head, and is squeezing penis like a ring, blood may not be able to reach the head and it may become gangrenous. Now the question is if this has been present since forever, or is this something new?

If you can’t bring foreskin down over the head and your penis is swelling, then you need to see a doc right away.

The piece of skin you described is called frenulum. It connects the foreskin with the head of the penis called glans. When frenulun is too short, it may restrict movement of the foreskin and you may have troubles retracting your foreskin. If frenulun is too short, it may tear during sex, and hurt and bleed.

I think it would be best if you showed this to your father, he should be able to recognize if there’s a problem or not because diagnosis over the internet is not possible nor recommendable.
